Worker safety is a top priority of Green Rose Detasseling.
Water and Lunch/Snacks
1) All employees must bring a light lunch and at least one gallon of water.
2) Green Rose will furnish additional iced drinking water and provide various breaks through out the day for all employees.
IRRIGATION SAFETY POLICY-All systems must pass a Pre-season Electrical Safeguard Inspection by a qualifed electriction and provide a copy to the Monsanto location. Grower will provide Monsanto access to irrigation system to conduct in-season inspections of electrical components. Irrigation systems are to be placed in a "Home" pivot lane where no detasseling duties will be preformed. All employees will be informed to refrain from any contact with the irrigation assembly and maintain a safe distance of 20 feet away from the irrigation assembly.
